People in Jordan were ever so nice. Sure, there were a few minor annoyances, but on the whole people were friendly, honest and courteous, in contrast to majority of our encounters in the last few countries. There were other tourists in Amman, but not many and the typical thing people said when they noticed us was “Welcome.” That’s more like it :)
My favorite was the owner of a juice bar we went to on New Year’s eve who was talkative, genuine and volunteered to have his picture taken with us.
Also, the juice was delicious.
Amman is not too historic, and they need to figure out what to call their bus stations, but it felt safe and friendly.
it looks delicious
