From KL, we took a quick trip to the Batu Caves which are the site a one of the largest Hindu shrines outside of India. There are entertaining monkeys, lots of steps to climb, priests and statues that make it look like the stories of Hinduism must be pretty entertaining.
At the base of the caves, we enjoyed our first rice-free meal in over two weeks.
