Hello! For those wondering, our current travel plans are something along these lines.
We're currently in Normandy, France, and will wwoof here for about another week. Then-
1 week in Paris (First week of september)
10 days in the south of France, hopefully wwoofing in Corsica. Still working on this.
2 weeks wwoofing in Piedmont, Italy, near Alessandria
1 week in Florence (Second week of October)
2 weeks wwoofing in Tuscany or Umbria. Not sure exactly where.
A couple days in Rome
A few days in Venice
About 1 week in Vienna with friends (First week of November)
10 days of being a tourist in Budapest/Balkan destinations
Istanbul (Last week of November)
5 days in Tunis with friends
3 weeks in Morocco (2 weeks wwoofing)
Jordan/Jerusalem/Palestine (Christmas)
1 week in Singapore/Johor (First week of January)
2 weeks wwoofing in Selangor, Malaysia
1 week being a tourist in Thailand/Cambodia
2 weeks wwoofing in Chiang Mai, Thailand (First two weeks of February)
Travel by land to Hong Kong
Shanghai
Bejing
Korea??
Hawaii??!?

ReplyDeleteWhile in Chiang Mai (if you make it into the city), I highly recommend two things:
1) Visit the Tiger Kingdom (http://www.tigerkingdom.com/Home.htm). The large cats are worth playing with...I skipped out on the smaller ones. But probably the best $15USD you'll spend.
2) Eat at Aroon Rai (http://www.dininginthailand.com/Aroon-Rai-Kotchasarn-Rd-Chiang-mai_96_54.php). Really cheap and delicious food. I ate TWO bowls of their delicious chicken panang.
What happened to India? Knocked off the list by other stuff?
