Reykjavik and environs
Reykjavik - We've gone to the blue lagoon, stumbled upon a huge culture night festival, listened to the best choral music I've ever heard, slept in a construction site and eaten delicious smoked salmon bruschetta.
The sulpheric salty water of the lagoon is excellent for the skin and terrible for the hair. My hair feels like I spread honey in it and then dipped it in chalk.

ReplyDeleteYeah, they played there in 1972. I remember now that on move 29 Bobby blundered horribly with Bxh2?, in light of the obvious move 30 g3, trapping the bishop. Bobby only got two pawns for the bishop. Bobby probably was planning 30...h5 31.Ke2 h45 but overlooked that 34.Kxh3 Bxf2 keeps the bishop trapped! Jeez, it was really exciting!
