48 odd hours in Seattle

We spent a lovely few days staying downtown.  Some of the touristy highlights were:
- a winning Mariners game where we were surrounded by Blue Jays fans
- sitting in the shade in Pioneer square, near the new Nuance office
- the Klondike national historical park
- breakfast from the market
- chowder and fish and chips with the seagulls at Ivar's
- dinner and snacks from Uwajimaya
- counting men in skirts (3)
- all of the refreshing, dry, warm-in-the-sun and cool-in-the-shade glorious Seattle weather
