On Sunday we spent about 8 hours clearing blackberries and Japanese knotweed from our lot, which is totally dwarfed by our borrowed truck.
Although we didn’t clear the whole thing, we did enough so that we’ll be able to have a land survey done soon.
Maybe next spring we’ll follow the example of the city of Seattle and actually hire some goats from a company like amazingrazers.com.
The best part of all the work was that we met at least 10 of our future neighbors!
