Jack and I are really excited to say that we now own a tiny patch of land. It's in the Central District, just east of downtown Seattle. In a few years we'll be building a wonderful, small, tall house with a western view of downtown Seattle.

In the meantime, we welcome all of your suggestions and house wish-list ideas. What do you wish your house had? What details do you think are important?

What a fine looking piece of real estate.

Yes, but are you gentry? Ha ha, glad it came through! Skylights? Solar tubes? Natural light is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI admit that I was thinking of "landed gentry" when I picked my title. However, I don't think this land will change our social status. Moreover we'll be spending our income on this land and the future house, rather than earning income from our vast estate :)
ReplyDeleteSolar tubes are a good idea!
I think all you need to be landed gentry is land and a gentle nature. You are so in! congrats and another adventure for you two.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful looking lot, so maybe we could all expect veggies this late summer? Until the house project starts.
