familiar faces of 1st avenue

A lot of the regulars in our neighborhood make me a little uncomfortable.

However, there are two Spare Change sellers I kind of enjoy seeing. One, pictured below has a quiet dignity and impressive Santa-like beard. He sells at a corner on 1st in front of an empty store front with his own likeness in the window.

The second is a middle-aged Native American guy who runs (often literally) around on 1st, usually with a football.

They've both been doing their thing in Pioneer Square longer than our three years in the neighborhood.
