This is me after a hot yoga class today.
For those who might not know, hot yoga (bikram yoga) is where you do yoga in a studio that's heated up to 105°. As you might expect, it's a very sweaty business.
Driving 6 minutes to and from yoga in a Seattle drizzle is about 10 times nicer than walking and busing to a studio in Cambridge, doing the class and then immediately donning multiple warm layers over sweat-drenched clothes and inevitably running 10 minutes in the snow to catch the bus. The Cambridge, Mass classes I took were also much, much harder than than classes I've taken here in Burien. The demographics are pretty different.
I'm glad we made it 10 years of adult life without having a car, because now that we've got one, there's no going back!
